The Chandeliers are suspended in the 1,001-seat Elisabeth Murdoch Hall which is the centrepiece of the Recital Centre. The hall is a fusion of acoustic and architectural design with state-ofthe art technology. The entire timber interior, including the unique chandelier forms, were purpose designed to complement and enhance chamber music performances. The interior surfaces incorporate an organic texture that diffuses the sound to enhance the timbre and blending of instruments.
