Refurbishment of existing structure under Springvale Road. The project required that the Underpass, the pedestrian ramps leading down to it and the railings be rejuvenated. The underground walls now feature two 14m long digital prints which show commuters and trains in a blur of colour motion. Internal lighting was upgraded, reflective sight panels were installed and locals were featured in a series of photo essays on the ramp walls.
BiGfiSh won the Victorian Crime Prevention Award in 2002 for ‘Improvement to the Built Environment’
